In an effort to revive and restore its former glory, it has recently been renovated and staffed by the Holy Monastery of Kykkos, to which it belongs. Name There are many interpretations about the name of the Metohi. The most prevalent of them states that in the past many priests lived there. Hence the name Monastery of the Priests.
